Poj5's openCanvas1.1 Tutorial

Edit: This tutorial is really more about the actual approach/technique than my end product. The final piece ended up looking a bit "metallic" and I plan to completely re-do the painting that is used for the demo. In the meantime, demonstration of the process itself along with the actual words should be useful.

This is my first tutorial, and I hope you like it! It follows the creation of this painting:
