Description
Some macaroni brooches I made in the U of Oregon metals and jewelry department in 2008 before my college graduation. They were created mostly as test/prototype models, but I unearthed them the other day and am now thinking of making more. What do you guys think?
Edit: More information about these brooches:
The backs are constructed of flat lasagna noodles, hand-sawed into custom shapes.
Fast-drying, industrial-strength glue holds the pasta shapes together.
The pinbacks are currently absent. I am looking for some suitable ones right now!
Each brooch is coated in spray enamel for durability and shine.
These are not currently for sale, but I may look into making these for profit if enough people are interested.
