BACKGROUND
******************************************

Denyto was born into an impoverished household, and as a child he lived with his mother, father, and younger sister in a tiny apartment in the city. He worked a factory job as a child, and one day he returned home late one evening to find that his whole family had disappeared. A bright child of only 13, Denyto immediately suspected foul play. Seeing no other option for survival, he quit his job and took to the streets, where he has been living ever since.

Denyto was very close to his sister, and against all odds, he still holds onto a glimmer of hope that she is alive somewhere in the metropolis.

CURRENT STATUS
******************************************

For the past several years, Denyto has been making his home in a small storage compartment in the ceiling of a parking garage. Although he never received a formal education, he is quite bright and reads anything he can get his hands on. He collects discarded objects that he thinks are beautiful or unusual, and he adorns his makeshift home with these things.

Denyto is mostly nocturnal to avoid being noticed, but he runs the occasional daytime errand for the owner of a local bookstore, who in turn rewards Denyto with tattered books.

FIGHTING STYLE
******************************************

Although he is rather small in stature, Denyto is incredibly flexible and uses the laws of physics to his advantage. His unique fighting style and resilient nature has earned him the nickname "The Wire" on the street. He capitalizes on momentum, inertia, speed, and accuracy to deal devastating blows to his opponents. In some cases, he uses his enemies' momentum in ways that makes opponents deal damage to themselves (i.e. swinging them into walls or tripping them).

Although he is certainly skilled in unarmed combat, Denyto's favorite weapon is street sign that says "10" on it. He wears makeshift armor made entirely of discarded scrap metal that he has scavenged.

Denyto can disappear and stay hidden whenever he needs to.

PERSONALITY
******************************************

Denyto does not interact much with others, and never has. As a result, he tends to be withdrawn and extremely soft spoken, with no real perception of what is considered socially "normal." When he does talk, he stutters compulsively and tends to fidget.

Although he dislikes stealing in practice, Denyto takes what he needs to from time to time so as not to starve to death. he has perfected the art of remaining unseen, and such does not get caught.

He has a few "friends" who also live on the street, but Denyto does not form emotional bonds with his peers because he knows that they (or he) may disappear one day without a trace.

Although he drank heavily when he first lost his family, Denyto has attempted in recent years to curb his alcohol use because he believes that it dulls his reflexes.

WEAKNESSES

Although he is hard to catch, Denyto is not very strong at all, and can be easily overpowered if he is rendered defenseless.

Denyto does not show his emotions much, but he loves objects of beauty. As such, he will take great personal risks to protect these objects. Life is something he considers to be especially beautiful.

Although he is bright and has great instincts, Denyto never received a formal education. As such, his bank of knowledge is limited only to what he has read in books or newspapers.
